The Table.

Where there is always space for you.

Take a minute or two to learn about what drives us to proclaim the gospel in our city.

There is a story in the New Testament…

about a woman who led a difficult life washing Jesus' feet with her tears. In the conversation that unfolds between Jesus and others who have been watching the woman do this, Jesus makes the comment that she loves much because she has been forgiven much. She is paying the grace she has been given forward to Jesus.

When we think of what Jesus is now doing through the Table of Los Fresnos, we see people who love this city, and want the gospel for this city, because we know how much grace we have received. We want the same grace and forgiveness for others. We are paying grace forward. That's our story, and we are connecting others to that story.

#PayingGraceForward

The Table of Los Fresnos is the story of Jesus in Los Fresnos.

Launched September 15, 2019, the Table is a community of people who are being connected to Jesus through Word, Sacrament, and mission. Los Fresnos is one of the fastest-growing cities in the Rio Grande Valley in Deep South Texas. In a predominately Hispanic context, many of our neighbors here are what some call the “unchurched” or “dechurched”…they were once connected to Jesus through church, but they are now no longer participating in a community. The Table is all about reconnecting people to Jesus through Word and Sacrament in the context of a caring community.
